hi, i have a 3rd gen rx7 (used to have the bose system) but im in the process of removing it for something a bit "nicer" ) . anyway, i wanted recommendations for amps that would be on par with the sr6500's that i have for front and back (yet to be installed) and my newly acquired nakamichi CD-700II deck? id like to keep the price below 800 as im already reallllly broke between the SR's and the nakamichi. thanks, heath

The Polk 400.4 would be a good fit.
Basically look for anything from a quality amp manufacturer that puts out 75-100 watts per channel.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I dunno bout Nakamichi, I just looked at their stuff and it doesn't impress me at all. I would've gone with an Alpine deck and Alpine amp

Find an amp with decent processing and you should be fine. The new Alpine PDX amps are both power and space efficient. You should give them a try.

some of the best amps in the world are made by ZED AUDIO. made in the USA. the draconia would have been a excellent choice with the burr-brown DAC's.
