Mounting ceiling center and rear speakers

I just purchaced RTi8's and I am looking at a TCi80 for a center channel and TCi620's for rears. I have a drop ceiling in my basement with 2' squares. The TCi80 appears to weigh 10 pounds and the TCi620s weigh 3.25 pounds. Is there a way of supporting the speakers in drop ceiling or do I need to rethink this setup?
I have a Denon AVR 2105 reciever and I' m on a limited budget .

Can't you place the center channel on top of your tv? If not, there are mounting shelves that will let you put one on top of a tv.

I'm not sure the drop ceiling tile can hold the weight of the speaker. But what if you replaced the tile where the speakers are located with a more rigid material? Like a light weight wood that you can paint and texture to match the ceiling tile? Just my two cents.

I consider a piece of 3/4" plywood 4X4' or 2X3' on the backside of the ceiling tile to support the speaker as this would spead the weight accross more ceiling support rails in the area. Just my $.02 I never tried that myself.

Report back on what you did, and Welcome to Polk Forums.

Thank You for your responces. I have decided to go with the Csi3 for my center channel and now have to decide between the tc60i and tc620i for my rear ceiling surrounds.
