LSi9 cherry a different shade than LSi7 cherry?

do you guys know if they are the exact same color? if not, i am not sure i would want to use LSi7 as rears. i'll probably go with the FXs.

i won 2 subs the past couple days.
i'll give the Polk Audio PSW350 10" polk if anybody wants it. you can just pay the invoice and have it shipped to your place if you want it.

They're the same color.

The words "give" and "Pay the invoice" seem to conflict. Besides, you're going to have to do a lot of work around here before anyone is going to buy something from you.

So, you can just pay the invoice. Then if you don't want it, put it on ebay.

I was going to buy some LSi7s from a guy last night and he said they were definitely different but Polk changed the color the past couple years on the LSi9s.
I'm sure your not the vocal majority here phuzzy. somebody has already emailed me wanting it. haha!

Polk has 2 series of LSi's the only difference is the newer (about 2 years ago) have some minor cosmetic changes. The color of the Cherry will vary slightly from model to model but it shouldn't be way off. The Cherry on both the 7's and 9's is the same. Any variation is natural or perhaps if they are well used may have been in direct sunlight.

Asshat seconded.

The first generation LSi cherry was pretty different. It was lighter, and had more of a natural wood grain to it. The newer generation has a much more rich cherry finish, and the wood is smoother to the touch. If the wood looks red and is smooth to the touch, it's the new. If it looks more natural with a natural woodgrain feel, it's the 1st generation.

the LSi7 cherry color IS DIFFERENT. Just confirmed it with someone who used to work at tweeter(before they started closing all their stores).

See post #9, nice edit BTW. You seem to do that a lot in your posts, say something inflammitory and then go back and edit and then ask why all the venom. It's your attitude that's getting you all the venom.

mox, I think the basis of the problems you are having stems from your inferrence in another thread that you weren't going to pay for the sub you won on E-bay because you bought it without knowing what it was and when you found out it was a piece of crap your statement was "good thing I haven't paid for it yet". We've all either had personal experience with deadbeat bidders or have friends that have had this happen to them. Bidding on an item and winning it, thus depriving someone else that was bidding of the chance to purchase it, and then not paying for it is in my opinion double thievery. Then in another thread (this one) you offer to "give" the sub to a forum member if they will pay your obligation for you. And you wonder why there may be some bad feelings toward you? Then to top it off, you threaten violence against a forum member that expresses his disapproval of your tactics? Please, save us from having to listen too you and go away till you grow up and learn there are consequences to all your actions.

Dude, you need to calm down and bring it down a notch. Skip has an excellent point re: your Ebay violations ... if you dont understand how to research and know what is good gear or not you should stick to Brick and Mortar stores where you can check out the product, ask questions, and pay up front before you say "I'll take it" .... internet shopping is not the wild west, boy, you need to smarten. I have to agree with pretty much everyone else here Mox. I'm pretty sure you don't care what any of us think, because the tone of each post you've made to me comes across with a bit of a "thug" mentality.

In any case, I think the majority of the people on this board would put you near the bottom of their list at this point. But this is a fantastic board, so if you care, and want to take a piece of advise, just turn off the attitude, dial up the niceness a bit, and you'll be surprised at the wealth of great information that people share here.

Here is the post before it was edited. I copied it word for word from the e-mail notification I receive for each subscribed thread. To be fair it was a veiled threat at best, nothing I'm worrying about. I have had just about enough of him. Maybe we'll see how/if he responds to this thread. So far he has been a totally useless member. If it continues I say boot him only because his presence here so far is of absolutely no value.

The appearance of the actual woodgrain veneer will vary due to inconsistancies in the grain itself. There are controls in place to ensure a uniformity of the end result.

Are you able to provide pictures of the aforementioned problem?
