Dual Subs vs. Full Range??

It all comes down to cash. I bought a pair of Lsi15s for $900 New and a pair of ML Grottos for $1300. In the end I spent $2200 on speakers that IMHO no full range speaker in the price range (If there is a true full-range speaker in this range) could begin to hang with. A quality musical sub, connected and calibrated properly will disappear in a room.

Full range for 2ch. I'd love to move up to a nicer pair of Tannoys one day."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

I bought a pair of Polk RTi 12s for under $1000.00 and bought 2 PSW1000 subs from a grey market seller on eBay and have about $1500.00 in the pair of them. That's all four speakers at $500 less than your budget. The RTi 12s are on sale at Crutchfield for $474.00 each with free shipping and at J & R for $399 each and about $70 each for shipping. The PSW1000s went for $750 for one and $$675 for the second. I think shipping was about $75.00 each. The Beloved System:

I think it all comes down your own ears and how it sounds to you. Sure there are a lot of good articles out there in regards to the topic but sometimes what the authors write is totally different for the end-user.
In my HT/music system I have dual subs and it just fill the room better for me.
