Oh ya... looks like my kind of humor!
Summer 2008. A ways off, maybe they'll get rid of the "Rock" in it huh? He might ruin the entire movie... oh well.

I love Get Smart. This is one of those remakes that may actually pull it off.

Flat out fantastic!
Witty humor, enough action, great one liners... I saw it last night and would go again to night in a heart beat! Steve Carrel was top notch, and not as silly/stupid as the previews made it out. Dyane was actually a good fit in it as well. A few cameo's that had me crackin' up. (Agent 13 in the tree... )
Instant buy in my book. If you enjoy humor and a fun ride, this one is for you!

We liked it as well. The 'critics' didn't seem to like it too much, but I liked it alot.
-
I probably won't see this. Special place in my heart for the original show. Can't see anybody doing it justice, unless Buck Henry AND Mel Brooks wrote this script.I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

Which is quite typical. Most "critics" don't like good movies. Personally, I hate critics, their reviews are nothing but someones opinion, pretty useless if you ask me.If...

Actually I believe the credits said both of these guys helped influence this film! Never saw the originals but this one was well worth the ride!I probably won't see this. Saw it last night with my girlfriend and another friend. We're youngin's so we've never seen the original. Great comedy, much funnier than that other "romantic comedy" The Happening.
9.5/10
Oh, and yah, critics opinions suck. No Country For Old Men was a mega-downer for me (but hey, still won Best Film.) -
Very good, saw it this morning and really enjoyed it. One of the best comedies in the past several years. Every seen with Ann was awesome, the laser scenes were fantastic as was this one...

Anybody seen this yet? I think it looks hilarious, and I'd like to see it with my girlfriend, but I haven't been able to get a good idea yet of how clean it is. I know that no movie put out today is going to be completely clean, but I'm hoping it's light on the language and 'colorful allusions' and hopefully clean of any 'scenes'.
Any info would be appreciated!George Grand wrote: »

Well worth the price of admission! TWICE!
Audiobliss: This is a very clean movie, a little swearing but nothing terrible. To go www.kidsinmind.com to check out a FULL review if you aren't sure if the movie will fit your tastes.

Hmm. Two separate threads here recently where I've gotten that kind of response.
What a sad commentary on society when having morals and trying to avoid totally unnecessary filthy language means you MUST be a small child. I'm 20, and I'll be just as interested in guarding myself against such trash when I'm 50, thank you.George Grand wrote: »

Forget about it, AB. I applaud you for preferring not to indulge in activities that aren't consistent with your perspective on morality. Good luck with that. My advise to you, if you want to stay away from trash....don't watch any movies, or TV, and stay home. And yes, it is sad, but unfortunately true._________________________________________________

Indulge? Activities? We are talking about a movie...a comedy, where maybe someone will use the word ****.

+1. I laughed most of the time. I will be buying first day all day. Hell I would go see it again and pay 17 bucks for soda, popcorn and nachos.Dan
