Well ----
Bad news...
Went to the installer place today - they were booked till Monday.
Good news is...
I installed it myself as of 30 minutes ago. Got it right the first time too. I rock.
PS: I love it --- anymore slam in my regular cab truck and I'd be puking everywhere after a trip to work...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Glad to hear you like it. It's nice doing it yourself too. I just installed my Fosgate amps this week. Took me a little longer because I currently have a cast on the lower part of my arm with a metal bar sticking out, broke a finger. Still the thought of paying someone to do it did not cross my mind....stubborn I guess . Typing has become a little more difficult now too .Alpine: CDA-7949

So besides the slam, how does it sound? Does it go pretty low? Is it nice and tight, or is it just a boom machine?
-
I assume you're referring to the infinity woofers?
props for doing it yourself. I personally wouldn't want to pay someone for something that I enjoy doing myself. -

I wouldnt buy a boom machine.
It is very refined, then again - it is a 10" woofer. It isnt the most accurate subwoofer I've heard, but for a 330 dollar sub, it isnt a one note wonder either...
So thats good. But it did all the low notes I am familiar with in songs and then some. Blended very well... I like it...- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Nice job. Thats all that matters.

Nice floor mats, glad you did it yourself as well. Looks like a cool little setup.
-CodyMusic is like candy, you have to get rid of the rappers to enjoy it -
Thanks...
Its a modest setup... the more I fix up this truck - the more I like it... haha
Its a shame the motor and tranny will only last a few more years if that...
Glad I took the pics, I noticed my dash didnt go all the way back on! haha - went back out there and popped it back in place...
I mounted the subwoofer level in the felted compartment in the dash where I put my CD player remote...
Now all I need is an alarm and I'll be rocking!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
That truck looks pretty nice. Good job. And its such a perfect fit!
