In short they are trying to kill us, we're not killing them?

Scotland they just take them to jail? I'm thinking a hospital to check for a pulse maybe after dinner tomorrow.

Ok one to the hospital because he had some burns oops.... I would've place another gallon on him first while lighting a cigarette first then maybe going to the store for some marshmallows.

Then we will blame him for starting the WAR, that's why it's here now. ;)

It will take another 10 -15 yrs after the Hillary years to rewrite the history books about this Republican.

You guys REALLY have to relax a TINY bit.

Also, if Hillary gets into office, war and foreign policy are going to be the least of our worries. I'm way more concerned about domestic socialism than the foreign fear-mongering.

I completely agree. No matter what president takes the spot, Bush created 10's of thousands of more *extremely better* organized terrorists just waiting to kill an American.

As if anything we did in Iraq had anything to do with terrorists... But create more

As if we can really stop the next terrorist attack...

There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

if there was no link between Iraq and terrorists, then why did the terrorists happen to go there, fun? the sand? the active nightlife? Hookers? I mean CMON!

Terrorists have been after us for a long time, they have just been getting better. Bush DID NOT make them better, time and training did.

Much of the time and training hapenned under Clinton's watch, virtually unchecked.

argue about Iraq all you want, like it or not, it is the front line of the war on terror. if we leave Iraq and back off, the terrorists will not stop, they're just going to come here.

the war in Iraq didnt increase there resolve, they have been wanting to kill us for decades. 9/11 hapenned before Iraq.....remember????

I dont think of this as a republican or Democrat issue, its just that the only people I have faith in protecting us are Republicans, I have no faith in the slate of Democrats protecting us, if there was one, I'd consider voting for him/her.

Both parties do what they have to do to stay in power, thats no secret, but the republicans plan for keeping power involves keeping us from dying a fiery death, where as the Democrats just dont seem to get the threat at all.

it's sad, any democrat with balls has had them ripped off (cough cough...Lieberman...cough).

I'm as close to the middle as I can get politically. Conservatives think I am a liberal because I am for abortion rights (but with some limits) and liberals think I am conservative because I am for abortion WITH SOME LIMITS!!

    You're an idiot!

Remember Vietnam? It could be said it really started with Kennedy sending over 100 "special forces" in 1961, but it really got rolling in 1964 when Johnson was President and quess what, you effing asshat??? Both were Democrats. Yep, simple as that.

Thank God people didnt think like this in 1941.

"Why are we attacking Germany? They never did anything to us. It was Japan that attacked us not Gernamy. All we're doing now is creating more ****."

I firmly believe that if we had to fight WWII right now, we would lose. We as a society dont have the guts to fight a war anymore. Just think, we lost over 3,000 soldiers on D-Day alone!!! 7,000+ casualties in ONE DAY! But we fought on and won.

Hey dudes, I can take it! I fully understand that there’s still 15% of this country that actually thinks we should be in this "war" and those numbers are still shrinking. Right along there with Bush’s 25% approval now. I fully understand that you have to be really loud to get your point across with those numbers.

I don’t have anything against republicans at all, we all agree (Demo's and Rep's) that Bush has arsshatted himself into "lame duck" president status.

The Democrat's, controlling the Congress have a 23% approval rating, lower than the President. Stick that in your hash pipe and smoke it. You want to know why? Simple, because they get absolutely nothing done except raising their salaries. Is that loud enough for you??? At least, when the Republicans had the votes they got some stuff done.

I've got some other news for you, every 2nd term President is a lame duck, DUH!!!

You know, I really hate to say this, but watch how fast that percentage for support of sticking to those **** changes when, not if, but when they kill more Americans on our soil. How fast people like you forget and how ignorant you are.

Listen man, there are a lot of people here that have or are fighting this war....I have spent 30 months doing this, and I see calling calling Iraq a "waste" an insult....I did not see this in your above posts specifically, but I can assume it from your comments....National Defense is a touchy subject....I will say this though, would a democrat cut spending on the new Presidential Helicopter project? I think not! We can cut other spending, but let's not put my **** on the line! We'll cut spending on the Apache and the ARH, and dump money into the PHP.....The Apache can't upgrade drive trains, we'll put more money into my ride.....

I wouldn't call Iraq a "waste"; I do believe, however, that the operation of this war has been conducted in a manner that is an insult to the grunts on the ground.
And for those who have been wounded and managed to return home for care: I believe that the leaders, both civilian and military,Democrat and Republican and Independent, who have been responsible for any sub-standard care should be held accountable, then taken out at high noon and shot down like rabid dogs.

The reason that we are in Iraq has NOTHING to do with terrorism.
The reason that we are in Iraq has EVERYTHING to do with the sea of oil their land floats above.

Even a "C-student" Republican President from TEXAS understands this one.
Texas has two very big industries. OIL, DEFENSE (General Dynamics), and of course, Haliburtin. Why not initiate a war with Iraq. Its a win, win, win. You get the "defense contracts" rolling, you get the "rebuilding contracts" rolling, and, ultimately, you get control of a lot of "TEXAS TEA" (as Jed Clampet from the Beverly Hillbilly's would say).

DUH! 911 is completely and totally unrelated to Iraq. PURE PROPAGANDA.

I'd say every war is about economics or RELIGION, but that's a separate issue.

My main issue with your limited line of thinking is that you're so fixated on one man starting a war for personal gain. It's absurdity at its basest level. Even if Bush and Cheney and ALLLLLL of their cronies in the government and beyond wanted to do that, you don't think ONE high-ranking official involved would say "um... hold on guys?" Stories of closed-door meetings in mahogany-lined rooms by powerful people are all great for Hollywood, but in reality there are a LOT of people involved, and Bush and Cheney aren't nearly as powerful as you like to think they are.

It may be just brainwashing, or maybe you just like to villainize those who don't have the same world view as you (Republicans), but I really think you and others like you are afraid to realize that government intelligence was just wrong. You need to have malicious INTENT here, rather than some mistakes and COMPLICATED results. That's right, world politics are COMPLICATED! Don't be too surprised that they can't be summed up in a 4-word sound bite (NO BLOOD FOR OIL!).
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
