Just got home from the Chicago show.

It was better than the one I saw last year in September and that show ROCKED.

Here's the set list:

Jambi
Stinkfist
Forty Six & 2
The Pot
Schism
Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann)
Rosetta Stoned
Flood
Wings for Marie (Part 1)
10,000 Days (Wings part 2)
Lateralus (with extended dual drum solo). Maynard said "for the first time ever...Tony"
Vicarious

Maynard was in a GREAT mood. Thanked us at the begining and then again (profusely) at the end for coming out.

Light shows were AMAZING.

Probably the best show I've ever seen.
Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro
HT: Samsung QN90B * Marantz NR1510 * Panasonic DMP-BDT220 * Roku Ultra LT * APC H10

Ya, you can quote me Demi but keep in mind Trent hasn't announced tour dates for the US in regards to year zero...yet ;):)

Awesome! Tool is my favorite band since I heard them 1993. I have never been to a concert of theirs yet. I would love to hear the following songs in concert:

    Forty Six & 2
    Third Eye
    Reflections

That's interesting, 46 & 2 still sticks out to me from when I saw them. It was a favorite song going in to the concert, but hearing it live will make you like it even more. Danney Carey is amazing most of the time, but that one in particular he's an instrument of awesome. He also did a double-drum, no vocal deal with opening group Tricky. Went on for about 10 minutes and I didn't want it to end.

You'll see a lot of people gush about their concerts, and rightly so. If you ever get a chance, do it. :)

I like the energy of that song, but have really been into Reflections lately. If you listen to that song on a detailed system it will blow your mind. Same with Third Eye. Danny is incredible. I like the older albums more than 10K Days. A few good songs though. I miss A Perfect Circle. I thought that they were a more grounded/mature yet equally potent version of Tool.

Saw them the night before Chicago in St.Paul. (26th)
I agree...it was totally a trip! My TOOL cherry was busted for sure.
Production end of things was top notch. Maynard on the other hand...
let's just say he's one weird little vampire
"she had the body of Venus, with arms."
