A guy in the Seattle area posted an ad on CL selling a pair of Polk towers and center channel. He doesn't describe what speakers they are or post pictures, but he did "Just get a BOSE system and have no use for them anymore".

Maybe he was on a quest to find the worst in audio and feels he's reached the pinnacle (or abyss?) with Bose.

Regardless....I think we should all call him one by one and tell him what a dumb a$$ he is.

Sometimes need is need. Big speakers for most people don't go over well in livingrooms or Familyrooms. Today most people don't even look at tower design speakers. They want in walls or Bose.

It's the way it is.. we are a dieing breed.

I agree, although some women are okay with that...

I say leave them alone. That is how I ended up with some SDA 2B's.

Yep, I got a mint pair of SDA 1C's from a local couple who then went on their way to Circuit City to buy some Bose cube speakers.

So did I a day or 2 ago. That fully show the ins an outs of bose. Oh well, he said I was an unhappy person. Hey he wants his bose, and if it sounds good to him that is all that matters.

I too was an unhappy person... when I had Bose. Now that I have Polk Audio, I am in a state of perpetual bliss!
