Hello, I've already decide to buy a pair of RTi10 front speakers. I wonder if you could give me some advice concerning the AV-Amp. First I'm going to make them work as a 2.0 audio system, and once I have save the rest of the money I'm going to upgrade it to a 5.1 system.
So according to your experience which is the appropriate AV-amp I should buy?
Thanks

I would recommend buying a used Adcom GFA-555. What do you have for a PreAmp?
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I don't have no PreAmp, why?

The Amplifier only amplifies the signal. You need a pre amp to send the signal to the amplifier. I would look for an HK, or Denon receiver with pre outs, and then get an Amplifier later. Just make sure the Receiver has Pre Outs.

I was yhinking about a Denon as an AV-receiber. The model I was looking at has pre outs. But what would you recomend as Amplifier, the GFA-555?

Adcom amps offer very good performance.
other brands to consider would be B&K, Outlaw Audio, Parasound, Sunfire if you have more money to spend.
get a 5 channel amp.. since later down the road you said you will be going with a 5.1 system.. then you'll be all ready to go.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
