Well, I know I am not the only person to have a problem with Samsung DLPs around here....I have had my replacement Toshiba for a couple of weeks, and I really think an all around better product...The remote is a lot higher quality and easier to use, input labeling, and it is easier to setup as well....Oh yeah, the picture is better on this one than the Samsung I had as well...

Check out www.secondact.biz .They have a lot of good deals....

I think the SOny's are the best overall looking. Samsung's are nice bu they break.

    Go Sony dude.

I've seen the other guys who have had problems with their Samsungs. I personally have had no problems and I'm coming up to 2 1/2 yrs and I'm completely satisfied. (Maybe I have a later generation of the light engine which seems to be the problem for the other guys)

I have the 42" DLP. (HL-R4266W) I bought based on the fact, at least when I was looking, that at 2 different stores it was the best looking tv. I wasn't even planning on getting a tv at the time. It just stood out as a great picture.

I realized I had a friend with the same model who loved his. The price and picture were great and the impending superbowl 2 years ago pushed me over the edge into purchasing.

    Good luck.

if your looking to spend a little more money the SXRD tv's this year are WILD. We set one up 1080p and WOW. Not to shabby the chassis are black too now so they even look good when their off

Check out Panasonic as well. They make a very reliable product and typically are not as expensive as the Sony's.

I would say Sony SXRD overall for a microprojection, but a lot of people like the really bright image of the Samsung HLTxx76s series.
