How in the heck do you hook these up?

Ok. I just got my 10" Pioneer TS-W251R. Now, I was used to hooking up older type subwoofers. But I have no clue about these. The only thing I can tell about them is that they are basically caps of som sort, black and red. that can be pushed up. They slide up and down. Sorry if my info is confusing, just ask and I'll try to help out with more.

push down on the terminal"cap" and insert wire on the side of it, let go

Does it have to be on the side? I am having troubles getting the wire in on the side. It can't go right through the front?

When you press the spring post in, it will align two holes on the side to form one hole, stick your speaker wire in, then let go.

just put it where the hole is top,bottom,left,right,Half way to hell......just put it in the hole.

LOL- never quite thought about it that way. Mind if I adapt that slightly...for use with the wifey? If I put it in those terms, it can't cause a headache... -
