Thoughts for a friend and fellow Polkie....

My very good friend Rich (SCompRacer) and his wife have flown out to Seattle
because his brother has suffered a massive stroke and there is no hope for recovery.
It is now day to day and a stressful waiting game as there is nothing more the doctors can do.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rich, Dana and family during this most difficult time.

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

It's tough to let go, but Rich and I talked about it and he knew the chances for recovery with any quality of life were very slim. Sometimes the best thing we can do is say goodbye and remember the good times.

Rich's brother's name is Chester, I like to have a name to keep in my thoughts. Rich is by his side.

Thanks Norm for posting, I felt a little awkward posting this personal information even though most of us are like family.
