Anyone interested in a PSW650?

I'm contemplating selling the PSW650. I have had it for about one month, if that, and it's in FLAWLESS condition, original box, manual, etc. I live in AZ, so I'm not sure on the shipping cost involed. I would like to get around $450 for it plus shipping, obo. I think they retail for $700 or so, depending on where you buy it.

Just thought I would look to see what I might expect.

If you're wondering why I want to sell it, I'm dying to get a SVS sub.

    I sold my twin PSW350's on Ebay in less than a week. I have a 20-39PC+ on pre-order, should ship today or tomorrow.

    Check prices on Ebay and set your Buy It Now to about $25 less than the best NIB price you can find from the on-line stores, and set your starting bid at the absolute lowest you would ever sell it for.

    Finally, set shipping at a firm price (say $40) and that way sellers can get the whole price upfront, no guess work.

    Good luck - which SVS are you contemplating?

    Dr. Spec - I checked on ebay to set a price here, and there wasn't one PSW650 for sale on there. I was thinking about posting it on ebay, but I'm not sure how much they will charge me. I have to sell my Harman Kardon AVR 125 too, so it looks like I will have to sell both things there.

    I have never sold a thing on ebay, so I don't think I can use a buy it now option, but I will check.

    Do you think $40 is enough to cover shipping? This sub isn't light by any means. It will be shipped in it's original box. Do you think I should chrage $50 to be sure?

    On the SVS sub, I'm not 100% sure which one yet, if there's a huge difference, I will go with the 16-46 PC Plus....

    If there's not a huge difference between that one and the 16-46 PCi, of course I would go with the PCi, cheaper :)

    But I will check things out before, and see what SVS recommends and what others recommend as well.

    I've heard the 20-39 PCi sub, and man it rocks, and can't image what these guys are hearing with their dual SVS Ultras!!!!!! Pure heaven I'm sure ;)

    Weigh it after it is boxed and ready for shipping and worst case $$ will be the consumer direct cost at the UPS shipping dock. Check the website and you will have the cost ahead of time if you know the zip code. Worst case ship it across country a use that zip code, etc.

    At work I get a major UPS discount so I can ship cheaper, and my woman can ship anything via Airborne Express through her work for $10, no matter how heavy it is. I have some great shipping deals going.

    You can use Buy It Now if you are a first time seller (I think).

    There is a major difference in output and features between the PCi and the PC+. The PC+ has nearly 6 dB more output below 30 Hz, plus adjustable phase and 4 position SS filters. It is well worth the extra $$, IMHO.

    BUT, the PCi series is NO SLOUCH - very powerful and clean - a great deal. I just can't pass up all the PC+ features for just a little extra dough.

    Doc, thanks for all the info. I listed it on ebay, and made the reserve $500, and intro bid at $400, I doubt it will sell.

    I'm 99% sure I'm going with the 16-46 PC+, it's just a lot more options for only $200. That's IF I sell my sub and HK Receiver.

    I can't believe no one wants this thing, especially the die hard Polk fans. Oh well, it's not like this sub sucks by any means, so I'll just use it in the mean time :)

    Well I got mine for only $320.00 New at Imaginary World of Audio
    120 W. Stanldley Street, Ukia, Ca 95482. It was a really a good deal.

    It works for me for the meantime but I really like the Servo-15
    I almost have the PSW1200 but I let it go to save a budget for the Servo-15's.

    The other sub I like is the Earthquake SuperNova 15.

    Well it seems the ebay thing isn't going well, would someone want to buy it for $450 plus shipping? If someone buys it, I will cancel the ebay listing and sell here first, if not, I guess I will have to ride out the ebay listing to the end :(

    I went to CC yesterday and they had one on the floor for $325.00. It was open box......looked it over and couldn't find a blemish one on it...

    I would like another 450 someday....
