Are there any current speakers made that use SDA (or sim.) technology?

Nice read. I think you once gave an explanation why my CRS+ still had sound when I turned off speaker switch and I also discovered they did the same when I plugg in headphones. Only disconnecting IC turned them "off." Some think it is the amp. I thought you believed this was a function of the SDA drivers???

Sounds like the carver system would work better with better speakers, but the odd thing is, the people that own better speakers (us) aren't going to want active processing in our signal path in the first place.

SDA, being passive, isn't going to "harm" the signal too much, and is probably a lot more forgiving because the "work" is spread to seperate drivers (and a limited bandwidth at that), rather than trying to do everything with a single set. Just like how a square wave can exist on paper but is impossible to actually "hear", only an approximation.
