Al don't you have a boatload of upgrades done to those SRSs?

I'll bet the magic marker Matt used to sign the passive radiator is making the bass sound deeper and tighter and more natural!!!:D :p

    Joe,

I upgraded all the tweeters to the silk ones.. if I end up keeping them.. i'll have the crossovers rebuilt. Then i ain't selling them :p

I'm doing my crossovers, binding posts and SDA cable in the next couple of weeks. . . so far the damage for the parts is $575. If you add the price of the cable I am using which cost me $11.00 a foot back in 1987, a 15 foot piece is $165, but I'm not counting that cause that was bought paid for and written off 17 years ago.

I understand the SRS crossovers are much more difficult to upgrade than the 1.2TLs. Not that I'm trying to discourage you.

Great news Al. Let me know when the sale is done, so I know your pockets are fat and I can pressure you into buying something you need from me (even though you may not know you need it yet).

Ok. since i posted these for sale.. i have moved them further apart. OMG! they sound soooo much better now. They were about 7 ft apart from the center of each speaker.

Now they are 12 feet apart center to center.. and the soundstage is freakin huge.

After you moved them to 12 feet apart, how far were you sitting from them?

(hint: you were 12 to 14 feet in front of them) :D
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

I would expect the new owner to be in audio nirvana for quite some time, or on the viscious cycle into bankruptcy or being homeless.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

It would take at least 4 shopping carts to ferry these around if you were homeless.:D  :D

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

They do the shopping cart thing in Alaska too? I thought for sure it would be a dog sled being pulled by rats.
