    Nothing major planned today. I'm pulling my daughter out of school at lunch today and we're heading to Disneyland (home, away from home :) ) for the day with some other friends so that will be fun. Then, chew some beer and have some neighbors over for a movie.

    Check this out. I went out to dinner with my parents last night for my B-Day, my present is this...

    My granddad (mom's side) worked for both 20th Century Fox and MGM back in the 1930's. This is the badge you attached to your car for security clearence to get onto the studio lot. It's roughly 4" in diameter and 1/4" thick. The picture is my granddad at the studio. It was all put together in a nice black frame. Such an awesome gift. My mom found the badge just a few months ago.
