no color

Just hooked up my new Yamaha RX-V659 A/V receiver and for some reason i have no color when using DVD player or Gamecube. TV is fine. I doubt it is the receiver . Did i not wire something properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess loose cable, or wrong setting within the receiver's setup.

what are you using composite,s-video,component or hdmi?

Usually the component cables colors are mixed up or you need to set the DVD up for component out.

I had this problem until about a month ago. I finally decided to make a switch to a color TV, and man what a difference!

I have component hookups i believe. R,W and Y. Real electronic wiz aren"t I.:o

Red, Green, Blue some people mix the Green and Blue sometimes.
