    Just a quick question? Have any of you ever noticed that in several sitcoms on tv there are stereos in the background, and everytime I notice one I see that pinkish red surround and the unmistakable white CV on the dust cap.. Makes me smile and reminise high school everytime I see it.

    I'm gonna have to remember that phrase, it's as accurate as the good bass that punches you in the chest!

    I agree with most of whats being said, these are not the way to go for accuracy, soundstage and critical listening. but as a party speaker, I always put CV ahead of MTX, PYLE and the likes by quite a bit.

    There were what appeared to be d5's (or maybe d3's) in rachels apt. on Friends... That woofer just always stood out. (and yes - made me smile...)

    I had the D5's here. Back in the high school days as well. Brother in law still has them and still thinks they are awesome.:eek: :confused:
