    Rack 'em...

I've been waiting the entire thread for someone to bust out a Breakfast Club reference:D
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

What's this talk of Prince not being a musician? He plays everything, and often plays every instrument on his and other people's albums.

    MJ cannot play any instruments.

Steve, there is no need to be embarrassed by enjoying a musical performance by such a talented entertainer, He was obviously worth the money you spent for tickets.

    Steve.....trust me.....yes, there is.

But he is a songwriter & uses his voice as an instrument. Therefore, he is a musician.:D

    Most women I know aren't interested in wearing a 3 piece suit Troy!:p :D

Have you ever seen him in concert, or watched one of his concert videos? If not, just what are you basing your opinion on?

    Cathy,

I'm just joking....while it's not my cup of tea, per se, I don't find anything inherently wrong with Barry.

Sorry Cat, a singer is not a musician. Most singers though can play at least one instrument.

I am quite confident that Barry Manilow has played his fair share of instruments in his time.

Ted, MJ is a songwriter, therefore, he is a musician. You try telling a professional singer/songwriter that they are not musicians & they will probably take your head off! Playing an instrument is not the only qualification for being a musician.

BBL BM plays the piano. And he started out by playing the accodian! EEK!
