true it will work and sound fine, but having speakers that are voiced the same makes the sound more seamless. I just wish I had an eq for my centers, and surrounds to help tame the brightness from the rears, and give my center some treble. Oh well on of these years I will be able to get be able to get some older monitors for sides and center, and a pair or crs for rears and all will be good. Then I can build my triple passive radiator sub(as a rule of thumb passive radiator size should be at least double the size of the active driver(s), and triple is better at least that's what I've read from a few different places).

No affiliation and not sure about the price, but it looks pretty good to me....

Edit - I guess if you really need the extra channels you could always get 2...Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)
