She's Black, She's Beautiful and She's mine :cool: Fedex just dropped her off to me as soon as i got home from work. She's got all the gingerbread including Pearl Cryro valves, Cardas Rhodium RCA's wired with 22awg DH labs silver wire, Blackgate Capacitors, Fairchild Stealth ultra fast diodes, Relcaps, Tent labs X02 masterclock, Tent labs discrete clock power supply and the Chassis is dampened with Starrdamp sheets that have a layer of copper to Shield RFI. she is not even burned in yet and the sound is comparable to my $2400.00 Audio Aero Prima tube CD player. this player is really Sweet! :D thanks....WCW III

    Congrats! I've been contemplating that mod for quite a while. I decided to go with a ModWright modified 9100ES instead.

    I have been playing with and burning in the H.R.A.M Stage 3+ JD100A since thursday and it is a remarkable sounding Redbook player. my inspiration to buy this CD player was from F1 Nut and his extreme JD100A Modifications. if anyone is sitting on the fence wondering if major mods are worth it on the JD100A i will say that with the mods it is truely a World class Redbook CD Player.my other new toy the Rega Apollo is way outclassed by this player in my two channel rig.:D thanks....WCW III

    I just went under the hood for the first time and i am very impressed with the workmanship. the Tent Labs discrete clock power supply has Blackgates and two tiny black transformers mounted to its own elevated circuit board and is mounted beside the Tent Labs XO2 masterclock. the CD transport has dampening material attached to it.this thing is really a nice piece :D thanks....WCW III

    Thank you for for the comparison. I've got the Rega Apollo and my next toy will be the Jolida w/L3 Mod's. It's nice to know that I won't be wasting my dough getting a CDP that sounds as good, or a "little bit" better. Jesse recommended this to me as well. Can't wait!

    If only Micheal Allen would do a SACD Jolida. THAT would be way cool.

    Hey dragon1952, i have never heard a stock JD 100A
    but the H.R.A.M mods dont change the circuit. the Stage 3+ uses a Tent Labs XO2 masterclock and a seperate Tent Labs discrete clock power supply to reclock it to ultra low jitter specs and the caps, diodes,wiring and RCA connections and 12AX7 tubes are all replaced with top shelf parts.thanks....WCW III
