Very, very cool. Nice looking (duh).
Looks like its a big beast of a CDP.
Looking forward to your thoughts. -
Very nice looking CDP.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

It looks really well built and cool to boot.I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Very nice, HTRookie!I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Curious to know how the Raysonic compares to the Bada....HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

I have read nothing but great things of that player. Supposed to be an absolute steal. I too am looking forward to your review.
Congrats,
Mike

Looks very nice Ricardo! The BB 1732 is a very nice DAC. The only thing that makes me nervouse about Chinese gear is who will fix it if it's broke. I know Jolida is made in China and they will fix the gear. But some of the others are suspect. I've heard stories about buying gear in the USA, having a problem and then you have to ship it to China. I guess I haven't bought into the whole "globalization" thing for electronics. I would caution anyone who would buy Chinese goods from eBay, good luck if you've got a problem.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade my friend, just expressing my thoughts in general. I hope the player is great!Carl -
Congrats Richardo. Look real good.Michael
In the beginning, all knowledge was new!

Thanks for the comments.
I won't have a service problem because it won't break
Almost anything you buy today is made in China. Even some Cary players need to go to China for service.
I've also heard very good things about this player; have been looking for a new player, not because I don't like the Bada, but to try something a little bit higher in the food chain. And I just bought a pair of 1960's Sylvania gold pins for the Bada. I guess I'll sell them to early_________________________________________________

Hey HT,
Do what I've been told. Compare next to known best, better or favorite CDP's you have. Listen and compare with unbiased detail. Have someone switch the components without you knowing. I hate when this happens...LOL!!! Looks good...but sample and judge for yourself.Testing

I expect to like this new one better than the Bada and sell it, but if that's not the case I'll sell the new one; anyway it wil be fun_________________________________________________

Nah. I'm very happy with the good ol' GE 5670. No more tube rolling, unless I find a great deal on a Bendix.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... the Bada may be landing in our very own flea market. You would pick a time when audio funds are periously low:pI never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I must say that I did not think I could get much improvement from a source; you can call that audio ignorance
I've been playing with the Raysonic all afternoon, and I think I can use the word "definition" to describe what it brought to my rig. I thought I was "there", but it's only once you hear such a difference that you realize that things can even get better.
The player is heavy, and gorgeous. Finish is in a different league, and I'm surprised you can get this for the price. I was also surprised for having Electro Harmonix as stock tubes for a Chinese player.
Loving it._________________________________________________
