    http://indiana.theelectronicsshopper.com/electronics/polk-audio-floor-standing-speakers150w.html

that is providing HB27 hasnt already picked them up ;)

Look like RTA8T's. Nice speakers. I got mine on CL for $30 with a couple small woofer tears. Functional at $80 is a good deal...

I've delt with Don many times in the past for both music and gear. He's very easy to negotiate with. Here is the email I received from him. Great stuff below.

    Hello Everyone!

Every once in a rare while, we are able to negotiate what we think to be a fantastic deal with our suppliers. We have come up with such a deal on a variety of CD brands, as follows:

Chesky CDs - depending on the title, these CDs usually retail from $17 to $25 a piece (excluding out of print items). If you are looking for any specific titles in the Chesky CD catalog, and you buy them directly from us (not through ebay - most titles are not listed in our ebay store anyway), we will sell them to you as follows:

    $14.00 USD each, plus shipping
If you buy 5 or more, we will sell them for $13.00 each
Buy 10, we will come down to $12.00 each
Buy 15, we will come down to $11.00 each
Finally if you buy more than 20 titles, we will come down to $10.00 a piece.

The same pricing used for Chesky will also apply to the following CD brands:

    Reference Recordings
    Audioquest / Valley Entertainment
    Digital Music Productions (DMP)
    M.A. Recordings

We also have limited stock of CDs made by:

    Analogue Productions
    Justice Records
    Groove Note
    Pope Music

We will use the same pricing for these limited stocks as for Chesky.

We expect to have all these CDs in our warehouse by next Tuesday, October 19th. At that time we will make a list of the actual titles on hand and if anyone wants a copy of the list, just email us back and we will forward it to you once it's available.

These CDs will only be offered on a first come, first served basis. Once they're gone, that will be it. If you want to beat the crowd and secure a particular title or titles, you can always check the manufacturer's websites for their catalog, write down in an email which ones you are interested in and email them directly to us. We will try to satisfy these orders first, before all other orders.

If rare out of print LPs are more to your liking, check out our ebay store for some great specials. Some rare items have been discounted by as much as 30%. Don't miss out as we have only the single item in inventory for most rare, LP items.

Don't hesitate to make us what you think is a reasonable offer for items in our ebay store. We too are reasonable people, who knows, you just might get the rare LP or CD you want. All we ask is that you are reasonable with your offers.

Remember to check back often as listing items on ebay is a slow, tedious and continuous process and there are many rare LPs here that we are going to offer for sale. The link to our ebay store is below:

    http://stores.ebay.com/Hear-The-Difference

Enjoy the music! Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to email us directly - we are here to help.

Saw this in St Louis Craigslist. Seems a little high for a pair of RT3000p's and a CS1000p at $1,000, but he also states OBO.

I have an extra set of rosewood FX1000's that would make it a RT5000 system.

I would have grabbed them just for spare parts, but with 2 pairs of 1.2's and one pair of 2.3's here already ( I just picked up another pair of immaculate 1.2's I couldnt pass up...and they are sitting in the dining room at the moment ) would have the old lady throwing me out on the street. :p

As it is , I am going to have to let one of my 3 pairs of big boys go...the dining room storage aint going over so well. Hey, I am only 25 minutes from you...need any speakers ;)

Check out www.dvd2blu.com. Warner Bros is allowing you to swap ANY DVD for many of it's BD titles for $4.95 each. They've done red2blu in the past allowing HD DVD's to be swapped for BD's at around $4.95 each, then allowed a swap of a Warner DVD to the same BD title. Now it's ANY DVD for one of their BD titles for $4.95. A $35 order gets free shipping in CONUS. Shipping the 'old' discs to them is free via a prepaid label they email to you. Heck of a deal!
