Someone I know (not me) scored a deal on these yesterday from my local hifi store.

Never heard of em but damn they sound good.

Honestly you’d never know the SDA 2As aren’t playing and these are instead....

And I hate to say it.... they sound better (at 1/10th the size)..... Even my wife agrees they sound better.....

They are very “engaging” and “pleasant” speakers to listen to.... and they can take some juice!

They lack down low compared to the SDAs..... but augment with a small 10 or 12” sub.... and you could easily live with these...

Their ported slightly larger brother is even better....

I don't know anything about SVS Cylinder sub model names/numbers or prices, but this sure seems like it might be a good deal in regards to the sub.

    Denon AVR-S500BT $100

Polk Audio RTI A3 $100 for the pair

SVS 12" cylindrical powered subwoofer $200

For everything together, discount the price to $300 total.

Well its a powered one so its a PC-12. Its not tall enough to be the PC-13 or PC-13 Ultra.

I'm guessing its a PC-12 NSD or a PC-12+. Older gen but still very good.

    PC-12s all used Sledge amps.

This is a BASH amp and is most likely one of the 20-39 (PC, PC Plus, PCi)

Uninsightful, all of you! I think I just invented that word. This is how Reservoir Dogs should have started at the table!

    JOE: PC-12?

    MR. PINK: PC-13?

    MR. WHITE: PC-13 Ultra?

MR. PINK: FU, wrong. I'm right! What the f do you know about it anyway?

JOE: Not wrong, dumb a**, PC-12!

    Mr. White: PC-12+?

    JOE: PC-12?

MR. BLONDE: Joe, you want me to shoot him for you?

MR. WHITE: You'd shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.

NICE GUY EDDIE: Have you guys been listening to K-BILLY's super sounds of the seventies weekend?

MR. PINK: Yeah, it's f'in great isn't it? Bet it sound better with a 20-39 (PC, PC Plus, PCi).

MR. WHITE: It's too short to be a 20-39.

    MR. ORANGE: Bet it's a 20-31.

NICE GUY EDDIE: Can you believe the songs they been playin?

    JOE: PC-12?

So I snagged this bad boy today. Gonna use it for my secondary rig in the basement. the casters IMO make it easy to swap things around. So I'll keep em on for now.

Talk about a small world. Last year I bought a Oppo BDP-95 from the same guy! He moved, so I didn't recognize the address, but funny how small this community is. We talked audio for over an hour, sampled his new rig (he's a flipper), and just had a great time. Love this hobby!
