    Hi Guys
I'm reno'ing my basment and will be putting in-wall speaker cables. I'm torn between blue jeans cable (Belden 5000UE) and going with a monster cable (XPHP-CL). Although people speak positively about BJC, I'm worried about going with it. I seem to sway back & forth between MC and BJC. Monster's cables have more strands and are "time corrected". Is this just soothsaying or is there a benefit to MC?
    Thanks

I used both Monster in-wall wiring and BlueJeans Belden 5000UE wire, hands down I would install the Beldwn wire again. The sound difference is incredible cleaner highs / deeper bass, so much so I needed to redo my HT surround levels over for the rear surrounds speakers which I rewired. Monster cable is name only no science behind their stuff, so over priced.... Belden for $.38 a foot Monsters worth $.11 a foot IMHO ;)

I use paper clips. They plug right into my Flux Capacitor.

I just bought Knukoncepts 10 gauge recently, Was previously using Monster 12 gauge. I love the Knuconcepts wire price is good too. I could hear a very small difference , But I say its in the fact that my Monster wire was old like 10 years, copper was not corroded but turning dark on the ends and into the jacket. plus the fact that it just looks good so it has to sound better right hahahaha. I like it bang for the buck !

However the Von-Swinkle parablendwire sounds tough to beat ...
