Validation !

There`s nothing like getting validation from someone(s) that hears your rig and say`s,"MAN !...If you close your eyes, it sounds like they`re right in front of you in the room.."

I was playing with my new pre in the main rig and my daughters boyfriend say`s that exact thing..!

That`s right, from somebody that has no idea what , or who , or why it is , or what brand , or any of that stuff...just that it sounds so clear !...so real..!
" I have never heard a "stereo" sound that good"!

He say`s,"your always playing that smooth jazz stuff, have you ever heard rock or rap on that thing"?

"Well..no", I say..."but go get a couple cd`s and let`s check it out"..!

I have not had it past 9 o`clock , so I go just a smidge past the9 o`clock position and put in the Korn cd he`s handing me while smiling that sh* eating grin...

BLEW HIS SOCKS OFF !!!

I love this rig !
I paying the wife and kids to get lost tomorrow so I can spend yet another day in audio bliss...Nervana if you will...

Life is good !!!

    Excellent Bear. I know the feeling when someone acknowledges all your efforts. That being said, I would have complimented my girlfriend's father as well years ago.

    That thought crossed my mind also ....

    but I like the first thought better...:D

    He still has to watch out for the angry Bear though..;)


    The cool thing is , he`s an electrician, so I`m getting a dedicated circuit soon !

    and by the way...Korn on this rig was too cool...even for an old **** like me !

    Right ON Brother! That is sometimes better than one of the guys ohhhing and ahhhing isn't it!!! I have a Korn CD, I guess I have to dig it up.

    I get a thrill when I hear my wife describing the system to whomever, she gets all prowd and stuff. I have members of her family come through the door and say hello where is the stereo?
