Von Schweikert VR-1 with Stands

African Hazelwood finish; amazing little bookshelves that get down to 40 Hz, and with the most real vocals you can imagine. Detailed highs without being harsh or bright.
These are in great cosmetic condition with the exception of the bottom, where a hole was drilled for a threaded insert; no impact on functionality, but the veneer around the hole does not look pretty. If used with the stands you'll never see it. The stands base has four rubber inserts in the corners, and a single screw holds the speakers tight in place.
Stands are Sanus Speaker Foundations, 30" high. All steel, includes rubber feet and spikes.
Original packing material and double box for speakers.
Original box for stands.

Will have them here at this price for polkies for this week, then goes to Audiogon.

Price includes shipping (speakers & stands) to CONUS; local pick up will get a discount.

You can see a review here:

SOLD

Please post interest here first and then PM me.

EDIT: Added pictures of the holes.

Great deal on some really nice speakers! HT is a top notch man to deal with!

However, by looking at those holes on the bottom of the speaks, there is your proof that mechanical engineers don't make good carpenters:eek: Get the QA engineer out there to write up a non-conformance:D

Good luck with the sale Ricardo!!!:)
