    Interesting room.

If I were you I would try flipping over the center channel and then just use something to prop it up in the front so that it points right at you. The way it sits now it kinda looks like it's aimed more at the ceiling.

    Just a suggestion.

    Either way....Nice setup! Enjoy!

I do not know how your room forms behind the camera man but I do love the look of it straight on. Also think I prefer it with grill on than grill off. I need to remove my grills for a bit just to see if I like the look.

That looks awesome. A great room, thats for sure.

I agree with the center channel comment though. Prop something under the back of your center speaker so it is more aiming at your head rather than the speakers.

I love the look of the room. Really nice.

Yes very intersting shape of room, BTW nice clean set up. Bet you the other half likes it. How can they not when it's that clean looking.

As others have mentioned, flip that centre over and I would almost be tempted to spread them maind appart just a tad more to open up the SS.

Thanks all for the comments...yeah from the consensus I am definately going to flip the center...and the pics are of my basement..I just finished it and the HT sits right underneath our kitchen eating area which is a turrett...so thats why the walls look like a half of an octagon. In the back of the room behind the chairs is a bar area which is why I had no wall space for surrounds, which is why I use the TC610's as my surrounds...

Again thanks all for the comments/suggestions/nice words.....

This is for MrNightly......on the ceilings...

    www.ceilume.com

Where actual standard drop tiles absorb about 5% of the sound....these actually are rated from 25 to 30%. Not sure If I would notice the difference in sound but we bough em since they came in a variety of styles and work well with a sprinkler system (dont have to drop the heads).

Very cool. That's almost as cheap as sheetrock for the Ceilings. I have been considering rocking them all downstairs, but I may have to look into that system as well. Nicest looking drop ceilings I've ever seen. I might have to look into it further!! :D

How hard were they to put up? Also, I have just about 7'5" ceilings in the basement... would those work with the lower ceilings???

    Hey Nightly,
My bar area ceiling (done in black; the tiles come in black, white and opaque) is actually 7'6 and the HT (white tiles) area is at 7'9. I bought the tiles online, the drop frame is from lowes (armstrong), and it went up in a snap....just put your L-channel at your ceiling height and then start hangin your Tbars every 2 feet with wire and a hanger...it was time consuming but very easy work. You'd probably spend just as much time mudding and such with sheetrock and your ceiling wouldnt be accessible. I really like the look of a drywalled ceiling but this company has so many designs that It wasnt hard to find something me and the sweets liked.

Running speaker wire or coax cable was a snap with this ceiling. Its all in what cha like...either way im sure yours will look fantastic!
