RT25i tweeter damage

Received some speakers today and hooked them up. I was excited to hear how they sounded. Initially only one speaker was playing and I thought it sounded kinda muddy. Then I found one of the wires for the other speakers wasn't connected properly. I reconnected it and that speaker sounded fine so I investigated the muddy sounding one. It appears that the tweeter dome has been smashed in. Can I get replacements for it? I guess while I am at it, are replacement powerports and grill available too?

No, the Tri-Lam tweeter in that speaker is no longer made or available. I believe the original tweeter is part number BD0125-W and has been replaced by part number RD6514-3. The replacement is a silk dome tweeter, but I can tell you from experience that you will be hard pressed to notice the difference in most situations once the tweeter has some time on it. Call Polk Customer service to order one. Tell them you are a Club Polk member to get a discount. I don't know about the grill and port. Ask CS about them if you call to get the tweeter.

Maybe, I don't know...If it was about the FM list, I only read and update the list when my inbox gets full.

The person whom I sold my lsi-9's to told me he sent you an email via this website stating the positive nature of the transaction. I had hoped to see it listed since it said you updated the list on the 23rd. I told him to send you a pm concerning the transaction, and hope you can post it good buyers/sellers list the next time you update the list.

If he sends me a PM, it will be on the list. If he sent an e-mail, I may or may not get it as most of my e-mail is filtered so that very little gets through.
