Bored as hell.....

I hate airports...hate them.

I've been the last 2 1/2 hours sitting at the business class lounge in the Los Angeles Airport. My flight to Singapore is at 8 PM...or 11 PM if I follow my watch. So I have like 2 1/2 more hours of free booze.
The bad news is that I should stay awake the first 10 hours of the 19 hrs flight; sleep when I think it's daytime.
The way thinks are looking, I might drop asleep here and miss my flight.

Did I say free booze???

Right after the plane levels off, nail three or four shots of hard stuff, it will give you an eyeopener at first and then in a couple of hours knock you out for the rest of the flight. Good luck!

ok. 8pm departure from LAX to SIN is usually on Singapore Airlines Boeing 777 Leadership liner, which is a direct 15 hours flight, arriving SIN at around 6:30am local time.

Oh; SQ=Singapore Airlines; yes, but I think it's an Airbus......I do get there 6:50 AM Sunday local.

I love all asian food; including udon soup.

I know I need to behave..in the air and even more when I'm there. Not the same in the Philippines though

Agree with the "careful what you wish" comment; I used to travel a lot, like 1 every 4 weeks.....and hated it. There are some benefits like free vacations with the miles you get, but you come to hate it. Unless you are single....

Even if you are single ......... it sucks after a short while! My 2006 totals are somewhere in the neighborhood of 90+ nights in a hotel, and just over 155,000 airline miles. We have offices in 27 countries. I avoid the PacRim with a passion. Now those Russian women, that's where I could get in some serious trouble

ah, Sheraton towers. On Sunday morning when you arrived and hungry, hit the restaurant in the lobby (on your left as you walked into the lobby, towards the back, passed the big stairs). They have western/chinese dim sum kinda breakfast, it's very good!

Bear, lots of MNC will make you travel. HP and Agilent always have tons of their people cris-crossing International Date Line. I am not with them, though.

Just checked in in the hotel; flight was great, and I was able to sleep 7 hours.

I'm gonna get a shower, have some breakfast and hit the road.....need to stay awake all day today.
