    It's not so much that they're underrated but that others are so overrated. A ton of low budget receivers claim **** amount of watts per channel, but in a real life situation they don't put out nearly what they claim. Also remember that it's about quality over quantity too.

    so a good amp at rated at 100 wpc will put out more power than a cheap 200 wpc amp is that what your saying

    Could very well be. I used the wrong terms to describe how NAD's specs their amps a more proper term would be they conservatively rate their amplifiers. Their 2200s are conservatively rated at 100 wpc, they easily produce a lot more.

    the weird thing is there is no signal coming from my sub out on the reciever. so im having to run the sub on the front channel preouts to get signal to the subwoofer.

    well i just bought a nakamichi BX-100 tape deck, and a yamaha eq just to have one the 70's sound great and right now there only being pushed 85 watts but i do have them bi wired

    i have yet to buy my center channel and rear speakers can any body make a good recomendation for a set of speaks that will compliment my polk monitor 70's
