I have a pair of SDA-1's I just bought received with 3 damaged drivers. I just happen to have spare drivers for my RTA-12's and an a Polk 1O" subwoofer. that I have had for 20-30 years. I have 2 MW6501's and 2 MW6600x's and two SL2000 tweeters as spares. It appears that in my current RTA-12's I have a MW6511 crossed out to be a MW6500 in one speaker along with a MW6500, and the other has two MW6600x's in it. MY 10' woofer has two MW6501's in it. I remember burning my up my speakers several times over the years and it appears I used all these drivers interchangably. Can any of these be used in my SDA's.

In the right SDA I have the following speakers R SDA serial 9198

Bad MW6511 nov 87 labeled SDA1c

Good MW6503 1990 labeled SDA CRS+

Bad MW6503 1990 labeled SDA CRs+

Bad MW6510 1988 labeled SDA CDR+ SDAII

IN the Left SDA L SDA-6925
Have a pair of MW 6511's on one side and a pair of MW6510's on the other all
labeled SDA-1

Do I have SDA-1' or SDA-1c's

Need help

Thanks,

Bill

The SDA-1's the SDa interconnect will be the double bladed version. The biding post plate will have the external tweeter protect fuse. All 4 midbass drivers are MW6501's. The tweeters are horizontally oriented.

On the SDA-1C, the interconnect socket will be a pin/blade. The SDA (outer) drivers are MW6510s. The inners are MW6511. The tweeters will be vertically oriented.
