I have a pair of SDA-1's I just bought with 3 damaged drivers. I just happen to have spare drivers for my RTA-12's and an a Polk 1O" subwoofer. that I have had for 30 years. I have 2 MW6501's and 2 MW6600x's and two SL2000 tweeters as spares. It appears that in my current RTA-12's I have a MW6511 crossed out to be a MW6500 in one speaker along with a MW6500, and the other has two MW6600x's in it. I remember burning my up my speakers several times over the years and it appears I used all these drivers interchangably. Can any of these be used in my SDA's. I have not removed my bad speakers yet.

Thanks,

Bill

This could best be answered by Ken Swauger in Polk's Customer Service department. He will be able to tell you which drivers are interchangeable. He can also suggest substitute drivers from other manufacturers. Call the toll free number or send and email.

You could also post this question in the "Troubleshooting" section of the forum, which is monitored by Polk CS.
