Rick do you ever see ME in the so called tasteful babe thread? NO! Why? because it isn't tasteful. A woman certainly didn't start that thread! No woman with any kind of self respect would wear clothes that barely cover. But you guys aren't interested in looking at those of us who do cover up but still look eleagant & tasteful.
Interested in looking at and being with are two different things ...

Even when we do some uncovering, you still drool over some other younger woman. Or you just think of the sex you want to get from her wearing less.
Drool ? ... No ... Look ? ... Sure ... Women do the same thing, they're just a little more discreet about it ...

Rick, if you are married, check out your wife's closet & see what she's got and what she looks really good in & think about the last time you told her that she looked hot in it & really meant it! If she can't gather your attention with a nice tasteful outfit then that says more about you not her.:p
Regardless of how my wife looks to anyone else ... She'd be "hot" to me regardless of what she wore ... That's more about the fact that I know she's beautiful where it counts then anything else ... The other kind of "beauty" is only skin deep ...

Sex versus clothes? Nine times out of ten, I would go for sex over clothes. There are certain circumstances in which clothes might be preferable to sex, however. A few that come to mind: 1. Your inlaws are over for dinner 2. An important job interview 3. Most court appearances 4. Shopping for groceries at the Piggly Wiggly 4. Cross-country skiing in Minnesota in February.

Doubtless there are one or two others that escape my mind at the moment. Maybe someone could help me out here?

look up all of atrustd posts and put them togehter, and maybe it'll make scene, I don't know just thinking out loud.

Oh Yeah, and I'd give up sex for a year for a pre/pro, a good center, and a set of surrounds oh yeah and a 3 channel amp, and an svs. Ok fine 5 years, just don't tell my wife, who doesn't care about clothes, it's sex, sex, sex and more sex, can I get a brake. I mean come on I'm not a machine I'll make her pass out, and 15 min later she ready for round 2,3,4... just pick a number.

I don't know exactly what was meant by that reply but I am also not trying to sell anything either or advertise. I want to buy things. I did not make up the posting rules just trying to abide by them. I hope this clear up the matter.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Hate to say this, but I think it's because you couldn't get paid to do it. Are you really telling me that you wouldn't do it for $50K for a 3 day shoot? I know several women who have been in those types of shoots (Some of which are in that thread ;) ) and they are extremely smart and have a lot of self respect. Granted: some of the women who do this are morons (See the show "Beauty and the Geek"), but the ones I know are smart and can use it to make a living or as a weapon to get a promotions. Now, I would mention that they don't go out wearing nearly nothing, but the clothes are typically more revealing than what you are prescribing.

James, the women you are talking about are a very small minority in the US, and represent a fantasy for the fashion industry & you guys.

A good chunk of the population of women can't fit into or afford these clothes.

Now maybe that is a sad state of affairs but that is the way it is.

I disagree. Most of the women I know in the 20 to 40 range like to keep in shape and eat healthy. It's has become the trend to belong to a health club. My wife is a size 3 and has had 4 kids. (I on the other hand could stand to shed some lbs.) Not all the women are super models, but most could hold their own on that thread.

Exactly, with the airbrushing and make-up most women can be comparable. Not in the same league in real life, but comparable in a photo.

But the point is women should be able to dress how they like. Saying that dressing provocativly is bad is very, uh, judgemental. Some dress provocatively for attention, others because they can actually pull it off. Some girl who is 40lbs overweight shouldn't be wearing the hip huggers and belly shirt, however, on who is in shape can pull it off without looking trashy.

Some women do dress this way for attention, others for money or power. Who are we to judge?

Attitude and physique have a lot to do with what clothes make someone ****/sexy/hot/classy/etc...

I have also found that most, if not all, of the women who criticize the provacative style of dress are ones that don't have "it" to pull off that style of clothing. For the poster who said beauty is just a light switch away? Well, it's more fun with the lights on! ;)
