RT3000 Sub problem - weird noise

:( I just started hearing a high pitched buzzing noise coming from one of my RT3000 subs. I had it unplugged for a few days. When I plugged it back in, I immediately hear a buzzing coming from both sub speakers. Turning the volume knob up or down has no impact on the volume of the buzz.

I have tried the following with no difference noted:
Unplugged the subwoofer RCA cable
switched it off in the back
Switched it to always on
Unplugged and plugged back in

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

    Hello,
    In all likelihood the problem is with the bass amplifier. It would be best to telephone us at 1-800-377-7655 and we can discuss removing the amplifier and sending it to us.
