c500 problem

I have a c500.1 amp hooked to two 10" svc momos. The power light on my amp comes on and then the red light comes on saying short/low ohms. Then it keeps alternating between these two lights. Its even causing my truck to idle down because of low voltage. This happend once before.. and then it started working again. Is there internal damage or a bad connection?
