Everyone loves that Radii and wants me to sell it. I love it to and do not plan on selling it anytime soon. If I get out of my tiny apartment and into a house and can finally upgrade equipment then mabye just mabye i will part with it. -
Haha, you caught me before I edited my post!
It sure looks like a sweet pre, and everyone says it sounds like one, too....hang on to it!George Grand wrote: »

Mike,
If you go to some of the really way out there audio sites they use different cans of foods to place on top of components for resonance control. -

Congrats on the karma win! Soon you'll find out how fun it is to lug crates of records up and down stairs when you move! Grin!
Admittedly, I've almost entirely switched to cd and rarely pull out records... but it's just such a great thing to pull a record out of it's plastic sleeve, then out of the jacket - put it on the turntable - hear the needle hit the record... and the artwork is HUGE. It's just a different experience for some odd reason. A good 12" single will have amazing bass.
Oddly - I just ran across my notes for getting vinyl pressed from a few years back. A tiny record label I was working with was wanting to move from cd to vinyl and I made a few phone calls to people putting out 12" records (more in the detroit techno variety...) to see if they'd share who they had master the tracks and the whole process. Very interesting stuff - very expensive...especially compared to cd. I still haven't gotten anything on vinyl - the label put out about six or seven 12"'s before giving up. Anyway - I'm rambling - not a new thing...
