Selling most of my Speaker Rig

Hello fellow Polkies,
I've run up a *lot* of expenses over the holiday months and since I don't get to use most of my speaker gear as much as I'd like, it's a prime candidate for downsizing! Below is a list what I'm considering selling. I can take detailed pics this week. I'm offering these components to the Polk community before they go up on audiogon, and for less $'s here too. PM me if interested!

» BAT VK-5i Tube Preamp w/ remote, 8/10 condition: $1550 + ship SOLD.
This preamp sounds fantastic and cosmetically is a strong 8/10 - it would be 9, but there's a minor scratch on the right *side* of the front faceplate (ie: no chance of seeing it while it's in my rack). The front face itself is perfect. The 6922's are stock Sovteks, the 5881's are a matched pair of Tung-Sols I bought NOS this summer for $130. I also have a brand new matched pair of Sovtek 5881's, and an extra set of brand new, matched Sovtek 6922's. Also includes a pair of Cardas XLR/RCA adaptors (the VK-5i preamp only has XLR inputs). Retail on the VK-5i w/ remote was $5000!

» Sunfire Signature Series II (Architect's 17" version) stereo power amp in black - $1650 + ship SOLD
See Pics Here!
9/10. The latest version. Works perfectly. Cosmetically Flawless. Includes the glass base. 1300 Watts/ch into 4 ohms!! 625 Watts @ 8 ohms. Retails $4000. *Will need to wait at least a week before I can sell this*

» Toshiba A1 HDVD player w/ 7 HDDVD titles - $340 + ship SOLD
» Sony SCD-1 - $1750 + ship SOLD
8/10. THE SCD player. Sony's now discontinued flagship, retailed for $5000.

» LAT SS-1000 MK II 12ft bi-wire speaker cables w/ locking banana terminations $300 + ship NO LONGER FOR SALE
The latest version of their silverfuse wire (hybrid copper/silver). These are beefy cables! They cost me almost $600 new.

» Legacy Audio Signature III's in premium rosewood - $2290
See Pics Here! NO LONGER FOR SALE
The latest version, perfect condition, but I'm not sure yet whether I'm going to sell them yet and I'm only looking for local pickup at this time. This is more of an interest check for now. Sells for over $4500 new.

I have some feedback here, more feedback at audiogon, and lots of feedback at head-fi.com, all under the username mulveling

Thanks for the props, guys! This was a case of having eyes bigger than my wallet. I'd be able to keep this stuff had I lived like a miser the last several months, but that didn't work out too well :) I've had my fun, but I won't go into debt for audio. Decided I might as well go whole hog and build up an emergency fund for financial peace of mind, even...

Early B, the Meridian was actually sold last fall, to finance a pair of Sony MDR-R10 - which themselves may be on sale soon :D

AndyGwis - The camera is a Fuji FinePix e550 and only cost about $250 :D

Kidney? I got a kidney, a lung, 2/3 of a gently abused liver, and a set of family jewels I don't have a use for. I'll even throw in a satchel for the jewels, won't be needing that anymore either...

Thanks guys, so far I've gotten interest in the BAT, SCD-1, and Legacys.

Now, surely someone needs an amp rated @ 1200 Watts/ch for a pair of 4ohm speakers - my Sunfire can provide :D

Also, the Toshiba player + 7 HD DVDs is a cheap way to jump into HDDVD...

I love the SCD-1. That piece alone would make Sony haters crawl back into their generic Sony owning hole...and never emerge.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
