Lost Planet - XBOX360 ??

Anyone tried it? I played the demo, I thought the PQ is better than Splinter Cells or Rainbow Six:Vegas.

I would trade my Splinter Cells and Vegas for this one.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    IMO yes this game beats splinter hands down,I put this one right up there with GOW as legendary games!

    It seems you either love it or hate it from what I've heard..

    I thought the demo was cool and will probably get it after I beat Rainbow6

    i'll have to give the demo another try. i did not seem to dig it at all. put me in the 'hate' camp....for now....

    I played the hell out of the demo, and now I'm playing the hell out of the full game...single player is a bit of a mixed bag, as the story makes no sense whatsoever (its like starting to watch an anime series on the 10th episode), but the environments are incredible with plenty to shoot at. Having rockets and lasers zip by your head is awesome, and the smoke/fire/explosions are the best I've ever seen. Simply needs to be played on a big screen with surround sound...especially when you meet the worm for the first time. :)

    Multiplayer is where its at, though. Team Elimination is my personal fave, but they are all good. Very balanced gameplay (not at all like R6:V, which is horribly unbalanced, weapon wise)...no matter what your opponent brings to the table, there is something you can do to counter it. Even if he is in a big VS suit and all you have is a machine gun and a few grenades, you can bring him down (HUGE rush!).

    Absolutely worth giving it a chance, but like everything else it won't please everybody. But if you are tired of the usual shooter fare this just might be the ticket.

    I picked it up as well. So far nice game. The graphics are sweet and the story as noted is alittle already happening. You feel like you missed something. Nonetheless it's a pretty good game so far. I enjoy playing it. 3rd person adventures games are my kind of games.

    If you are thinking about it, download the demo and try it out. I did then went and got it.

    I'm still all about Chromehounds.

    I'll throw in another vote for the "love it" group. Its a fun FPS, the explosions and sound put this in a higher class than most games. Controls take a little bit to get used to, but its easy to use once you've got it down. Thumbs up!

    SP or MP? The SP demo is a way older build, missing some control functions as well as graphical touches...still gives a pretty good idea, but it ain't the real deal.

    hmm, I am very tempted to just go ahead buy it, even though I still have Splinter and R6 to finish (not even close to anywhere), I guess I am easily bored and time to play is always a premium.

    Awesome game, unfortunately my XBox 360's optical drive died so I have to wait a couple of weeks to play it again.

    IMO, the story makes sense... in an odd Sci-Fi way.

    Huh, weird...something must've been up that round, as someone else on my team was idle the entire match...their character would just stand there, get shot, respawn, get shot again. Needless to say, my team lost, but we came in 2nd...not bad being down 2 guys. Hopefully I'll see you on there again soon.

    You mark someone as a prefered playor or a non-prefered player. I marked you as prefered, although I don't know if you have any skills yet... hahaha :p:p

    You should check this game out. Multi-player is much better, IMO. I think the Demo can still be downloaded on XBox Live.

    Yeah, I have no clue what happened. Dropped games seem to happen once in a while. :(

    Just got it in the mail yesterday. Played 5 minutes of the single player. Have not checked out the multiplayer yet.
