Ohm Walsh 4 speakers--need TLC

I have a pair of Ohm Walsh 4's that I had high hopes for, but I'm basically out of money and space. Both sound like they need new surrounds. I bought them in this shape, but I've heard Walshes in the past and they sound remarkable when functioning properly. These were around $2000 when new.
Ohm will fix them, or upgrade them as much as you want. The best option brings them up to par with the best speaker they current make.
Cabinets are so-so cosmetically. One is a little faded with a few chips in the finish. The other was in the previous owner's living room when a truck plowed through the wall of the house. It had several large dings in the wood along with some white streaks. They do have their wheels and they're in good shape.
I'm thinking of somewhere around $300 for the pair, but feel free to make offers. I need them gone Real Soon Now. Must be picked up in MA a few miles up the coast from Boston.

Ohm speakers were the first "high end" equipment I'd ever experienced. My father's boss had a pair in his office downtown. I was picking something up and his boss invited me into the office for a listen. I had no idea what was behind them but after a brief demo my jaw was on the floor. One of the secretaries came running into the office & said "What the heck was that? It sonds like an earthquake!". In hindsight I think he'd probably had her all prepared to do that but they were impressive speakers none the less. Good luck with the saleAudio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

Thanks, guys. Just for anyone reading this, the Six Moons review is for the most expensive upgrade possible. There are many levels from that on down to the basic repair or driver reconditioning.
The pair of these I did hear working was stunning. Not for the deep bass, etc, but because the imaging and clarity was rediculous. I was listening in a crowded concrete basement with the speakers not even placed correctly and I could pick out the instruments. Like I said, I wish I could hang onto these but I'm tapped out. My Polks are OK in the meantime, and just today I brought home a mammoth stack of vintage McIntosh speakers that show promise. -
So they aren't working?
I have a pair of Ohm 2's. I dig 'em. -
You get sound out of them but it's distorted.

Anyone? Could use a decent power amp in exchange. All offers considered.

Updated with pics. Sorry about the mess, they're in the basement right now.

Trying again...

Thought I had a deal, still available. I gave the worst side of one cabinet a light sanding and four coats of tung oil. Made it look almost like new.
Keep in mind these do not use the ultra-funky Walsh drivers like the Ohm F, that can't be repaired. It's a somewhat standard driver, just mounted vertically. -
Ohms are gone, thanks everyone.
