Hmmm... This is interesting me. Is that flick free of crazy hard core religious stuff? I had heard when it came out that it was kind of the John Travolta crazy scientology like flick for Christians.

If it’s free of that kind of crud, I'd see it. But I don’t want to see another crazy flick on a certain sec's definition of "end times".

I thought of it as a good action flick with great scenery, wardrobe, etc. It was brutal as hell (unnecessarily so) but probably somewhat true to history.

I really didn't think it was that violent, no where near as brutal as The Passion or Braveheart. Great movie BTW.

I don't know where this came from... it's not a "Christian" story at all... not in the least. No religion even mentioned really, except for the tribes dancing and appeasing the sun god...

Just a great adventure action movie. The best in a long long time. Go buy it, you won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

Plus, if you have a good HT, it freaking ROCKS!

Bro, he just likes getting in his shots at Christians! They usually go unchecked.

    Really?

I thought I was getting digs in at Scientologists. Interesting that you didnt note that I was taking shots at scientologists and instead focused on Christians.

It's an honest question, that’s what people were saying about it and that’s the last I heard about it (mainly due to it being a Mel Gibson flick and we all know he’s gone over the deep end). But the 2 posts above yours have convinced me to watch it.

Has anyone seen it on Blu Ray? How is the transfer?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Awesome, gripping movie. . . my wife was yelling at and cheering on Jaguar Paw his whole flight!

Then she must of been hoarse by the end of the flick. The entire second half of the movie was the fight.

*high Fives Hearing's wife* You go girl! :)
