Down with Summer

Bring on Winter / Fall. I want the cold weather back. Summer sucks. It's hot (well, as hot as it can get by the beach anyway), there are too many damn kids everywhere (get back in school you rug-rats) and everything is crowded (go home people).

My favorite hang-out (Disneyland) is packed to the gills every-damn-day. Shite!

I hate Summer, I want the cold weather back, NOW!

Peace Out~:D

    I'll take the heat anyday!

The only thing winter is good for is drinking at the ski lodge, "I don't snow SKI just Drink"

    Ron:

Well, I went to Six Flags Darien Lake recently, and I have never seen such an inviting collection of nubile young flesh in my entire life. The stuff the 17-25 year old women are wearing these days in public really amazes me - very risque indeed - thong bikinis, postage stamp tops, very sheer cheesecloth white sarongs and blouses that conceal NOTHING after the water rides. These women have no shame, look mint, and flaunt it at every opportunity.

So summer is not all that bad for the sight seeing, but overall I'm with you Ron - bring on the huntin' weather - I hate the sticky hot stuff and I'm itchin' to get back afield on a cool crisp fall morning when my breath condenses and the dog eagerly whines and the smell of shotgun powder hangs in the air.

I hear ya Doc. Main Street here in Huntington Beach, CA. is quite the flesh fest. Thong bikini's and beauties everywhere. It's great, but too damn hot and crowded.

I'd say 55 is close, 45 at worst, 55-60 is average. It's the perfect cold.

In the summer when its hot and the sweat is on ya drippin
that is surely not the time to do the dinky dippin
but in the fall when its cool with frost upon the punkin
then its an excellent time to do some dinky dunkin!

June and July in Western Colorado was 100-106 every day. Finally a break in August. Just got home from work and it is about 60 degrees with light rain. FINALLY. Half of the state is burned up from forest fires.

    Perfect weather for dinky dunkin.

As much as I like the in-between seasons I'm more comfortable in winter. We fire up the ol' wood burner on simmer and hang out all day here.

The only problem is all the green is gone and our bare oak trees look like something out of a horror movie unless we're lucky like last year:

It's creeping up in the 96 to 98 range here. The temps would be tolerable except the effen humidity here is crazy. I don't know what the measurement is, but I know if you go outside it's instant sweat. It's like a freakin' greenhouse. Hot, muggy, sweaty....makes it hard to want to mow the lawn, or even golf or fish for that matter. Gives the A/C a workout. Every day heat and humidity, every afternoon nasty rainstorms with some pretty spectacular lightning.
