Thought about this for a little while and really started remembering how much I enjoyed Band of Brothers when it originally aired on HBO. Haven't seen it since then and I've upgraded every single piece of my system. Time to see it again!

    I'm In please, most definetly!

Dang, sweeeeet karma. As the official Karma picker of this thread, you all are saved from worrying that I'll win this contest. It is a contest after all, despite what Mr Big Blue failed to say.

Just everyone know that whoever I pick, owes me a BIG one ;) Muhahahaha..

    Let the games begin!

How can MR Big blue already be at 1000?!? Amazing... Post ****. The Boss man himself said I could pick the name and enter the contest as well... hope I pick myself ;)

Don't know that I have enough posts to be considered worthy of such a karma (or any for that matter), but I love war movies. So, if newbies are welcome, I would be honored to be "in." Thanks!

This is a really nice karma. I feel a little too new around here to feel comforable saying I'm in (so keep me out) - but I wanted to post how nice this was. I have about 20 titles in my war movie collection - and oddly enough - none of these. Band of Brothers has been on my to buy list for a long time - it just hasn't filtered to the top yet.

MrNightly will make the official announcement sometime Sunday evening after we complete our "Jump-through-hoops-make-it-totally-on-the-up-and-up" procedure for picking the winner. :)

And cambir, newbies are welcome, too. No restrictions on the number of posts. This one will be won by the person who can influence the pick through the overpowering emission of psychic brain waves (thereby making this kharma a true contest as defined by the IRS, or EPA, or whoever makes such determinations).

That means you, too, jkn. If you want to be in, re-post that you're in, and you'll be included.

Just thinking about that deleted scene from "We Were Soldiers" involving Master Sgt. Plumley ....... :)

Have you seen the Mythbusters episode where they test all the brain wave "enhancers"? I've got one that actually works!

Yes, Zombie Boy 2000, get your info to me and I'll have them out by Tuesday.

As an added bonus, I think I'll include, free of charge, a basket full of kittens.

    ......okay, okay, no kittens-in-a-basket. :(

Thanks to David, MrNightly, for being involved in the selection process.
A couple of days off from work, a bottle of Tylenol, and he'll be good to go in no time at all. :o

ZB2000, be sure to check out the deleted scenes on "We Were Soldiers".

Hey guys. You can get the cats out of the box now

Cats of War!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooooooohooooooo! I'm running through Bedford Falls right now... thanks Rick.

Are you all ready for some sacrilege? I have never seen Band of Brothers but have been dying to do so since it first came out. Just wanted to see 'em all together at once, but that would require a rental and some chloroform for my wife -- as in, not crappenin' Cap'n.

Now I'll just watch it whenever the hell I want! Wicked awesome Karma and thanks MrBBL!

    YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
