I am not getting any power to my PSW550. I am not even getting the power LED light to glow. Is there a fuse in this subwoofer that I could check?

    Hello,
Thanks for posting on the Forum. Yes there is, you would want to remove the AC power cord from your wall outlet. Then take out the 12 screws that go around the amplifier's input plate. The complete bass amplifier will come out away from the cabinet. You should be able to see a fuse holder on the other side of the input plate near where the power cord goes through the input plate. It should be a 1.25 Ampere 250 Volt time delay (slow blow) fuse that is 5mm x 20mm.
    Regards, Ken

Thank you for your reply Ken. Unfotunately, I did replace the fuse per your instructions and the fuse blew out immediately on 3 different fuses. Any idea why this may be happening?

    Hello,
That usually means there is a problem with the bass amplifier. The best thing to do is to go ahead and remove the two wires that go from the amplifier circuitry to the 8" woofer, at the woofer end. Then box the amplifier up and send it to Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note and give us your name, address, daytime telephone number and a copy of your sales receipt.
    Regards, Ken
