Well for those of you who have posted in the bring back the sda -fan list cursor here left click
I have received the Adcom that Snow has offered me. I will never be able to thank him enough as I have stated in the club house.

Ok back on subject.
I gave the pre a little time to warm up before I hooked it up. I first disconnected the interconnects that were hooked into the amp and replaced them with the rca's that Snow sent with the pre. I then hooked up the Phillips interconnects to the sony and the pre and used a pair of thicker, but very cheap interconnects on the tuner. I fired it up and put in the boston sacd. WOW every thing is so so clean sounding. You can really hear the guitar strings and cymbals are so clear and no longer ring. The snare drum is right on(I've played drums and have had friends that play Acoustic and electric guitars I also had a friend in school that played an electric bass as well as cello I have a friend that used to play the coronet, trumpet and piano, my wife used to play piano, and some wood winds, at our wedding we had a lady that played the harp and dulcimer I have also heard quit a few other live instruments, so I know what they should sound like.)
The sound stage is now transparent free of any obstructions (my wife even noticed the difference.) I then flip through a few other cds in the changer mix of 80's rock, Christmas music, and some bass music from the 90's. Low end is awesome and very clean and I have even more extension now. Every thing now sounds right. My wife said she would be able to judge how accurate everything was if we threw in some piano music. Could not find her cd so we threw in her Moulin Rouge soundtrack cd. This is an outstanding demo cd it has everything, and Ewan McGregor and Nichole Kidman have wonderful singing voices to boot. I do not now how I could do better except to get a better cd/sacd player. I could go tubes, but I would have to rob a bank. I am very pleased with what I have for 2ch as is my wife, she has hijacked the system and can now find the sweet spot on her own. The sweet spot is easer to find now as it has become wide as has the sound stage. I will now hate listening to anything else well except for a real setup as I feel I now have(thank you again snow).:D ;)

 Blown away,

Sounds to me like you and your wife are happy with it the way it is and that is awesome. Don't worry about changing anything out - just let the good times roll! :D

Enjoy the music.........that's what it's all about. Glad to hear things worked out.

Excellent. Lets see some pics, we love that stuff.

Enjoy it man seeing folks get turned on about the music with a new piece is a good part of what the club is about. Glad you got a nice deal from another member.

it'll be a bit on pics. Our camera has not been right after we got it repaired, and the place we got it fixed at is no longer a sony authorized repair center(wonder why?)
