has anyone successfully changed the mid range speaker after purchasing a part from polk or should it be left up to the pro's?

I'm not totally familiar with the RM II, but I have done it on my RM 2300 sats.
Pull the grill, and then remove the rubber grill post inserts that hold the grill into the holes. This reveals 4 screws in those holes that hold on the driver retainer frames. Once this is done, the drivers are free to be taken out of their mountings.

    Hope this helps.
