Guitarists....... I got a Boss GT 8 today.

Hey guys,
I picked up a Boss GT8 today. I have been looking for an effects pedal board that I can use a 4 wire method. the 4 wire method is guitar in then effects loop effects and return and an output infront of the amp. This allows you to put effects in your amps effects loop whtere they belong. Also ablt to put Distortion and OD pedals in front of your amps preamp where they belong. Putting effects in the chain is very important for great tone.

I was using a Korg 1000ax pedal board, Boss Chorus pedal, Krank Distortus Maxiums distortion pedal, Line 6 Space Chorus , BBE Sonic Maximizer. With the Boss, I can use just the BBE pedal in the loop chain. No more short cable mess all over the place.

Does anyone else use the Boss GT8 or any other effects board? Lets talk about effects.

I maybe selling a few of my stand alone pedals as well as the Korg if the Boss GT8 works out for me.

    I'd be interested in some effects pedals.
    Maybe a chorus. Maybe a nice blues box. etc.

    The Gt 8 is a powerful Effects pedal board. So far I have been learning it in front of my amp. Once I learn it I want to use the 4 cable method and do effects routing. this will allow me to use my amps channels and the Boss preamp at will and place effects in my amps efects loop. I can put a OD pedal in front of one of the preamps if I so choose.

    Anyone own a Boss GT 8 in here??
