You can set it up do use channel logos to change channels by. Take a look at my gallery for a pic of the remote-links in my sig.

awesome... and can you have multiple pages of channels, or are you limited to just 8?

I have two pages worth which I *believe* is the max. I'll have to check when I get home tonight.

16 is the actual limit-you get 2 pages of 8 channels. Here are a couple sites with channel icons you can d/l.

The 1000 offers 3 pages of 8. I'm only using about 8 right now, without the logos.

Anyone try this with the Sony 400 disk DVD/SACD player, and an HK AVR-235?
    Thanks Ben

    Anyone?

The HK AVR-235 shouldn't be a problem because my 635 was available. Their database is pretty extensive, so I'd be guessing they have your Sony also. If not, you can also "teach" the 880 the commands from your Sony's remote. Try contacting Logitech and see if they have these in their database ;)

I have the URC remote, and its functions are limited. On top of that the learning only allows you to learn maybe 20 commands. Not very satisfied with it. I hate having to use the original remote for certain functions because I have to decide what is the most important. :(
