    wow still up huh..

hey another questions.. I was able to buy a Dynaco ST-120, then I found some discussion about how awful they are... I used to run my RTi70s with a Marantz 1060b which was only... about 25wpc. Would it pay off in the long run to spring for something in the 100wpc range from NAD or B&K?

That Marantz is a cool high current integrated. I grew up with one driving Smaller Advents, which aren't as efficient as the Polks. The Marantz will be fine and, iIrc, it has pre-outs for adding a bigger amp in the future. I'd try them with it first, then decide if/when you need more power.

Don't know much about the Dynaco.

    Keith,

You have your ability to receive PMs turned off. I've tried to PM you about our deal.

    Heya,

I've decided to rebuild my 2 channel rig after not being able to bring it cross-country when I moved last year. I am looking for either a set of Monitor 7s, 10s, maybe RTAs. I've been looking on ebay, and there are some good deals, but then the shipping is outrageous due to weight, so I would like to drive 100-150 miles at most to pick them up.

If you have anything like this or a similar offer let me know!

    Ahoy KeithV!

I'm a fellow Buckeye who just stumbled on this site during my quest for a Polk XM tuner. I have some equipment that may be of interest to you. I have available a pair of Dynaudio Audience 7 monitor speakers. They are 2-way speakers design using a 9.5" woofer and 1.25" tweeter. They are made by a very reputable company in Demark. I also have a great integrated amp that mates well with them. It's a YBA Integre. If you're into 2-channel you won't be disappointed. Where in Ohio are you located? We can set-up a demo if you like.

    Thanks.
